How do you charge for your services?:
My clients hire me on a flat fee basis. The fees fall under a certain range dependent on whether the allegations involve misdemeanors or felonies, and the client knows upfront what the total fees will be. There are no hidden fees, or surprise fees should the case take an unexpected turn. Again, it's about full communication with the client from beginning to end.
Why should a prospective client choose your firm to handle their case?:
My office stands out because of the personal attention they will receive. I'm the only attorney they will speak to in my office. Aside from that, and to many a much more important fact, is my former employment as a Prosecutor for 8 years here in San Diego. I know what type of evidence prosecutors are looking for when evaluating charges and I use that insight in advocating for my client to not be charged. My office spends considerable effort pre-filing to avoid court and we are quite successful.
How would you describe the level of communication you have with your clients?:
I have excellent communication with my clients. All of them know they can reach me via phone or email, all hours of the day. I always ask which method of communication they prefer, and I try to accommodate them as much as possible. I have found that the more informed they are, the easier my job becomes. It's a win-win situation.
